Glee at the O2 - Part 2

So the other night I started talking about my trip to the O2 to watch Glee.  We got to our seats around 7.15pm, nothing happened until 8pm where we had dancers come on stage.  Glee has two brilliant dancers, Britney and Mike, and I thought it was them.  Instead it was their supporting act.

After they left the stage, the curtain came down and we had to wait again, and then we got this.....

Just before 9pm, they were on stage!

Glee at the O2

As I had written about earlier in the year, I was very lucky to get Glee tickets thanks to my husband and yesterday the day finally came to see the cast live!! Yeah!

To get with the spirit, we went for Glee t shirts and the foam hands....yes we got sucked into buying the merchandise!  Well everyone else was!

And look at all these people who like us were eager waiting to see the 'New Directions'!

Global Smurf Day

So today, Saturday 25th June was Global Smurfs Day.  It is a once in a lifetime Global event set up to smash into the World Records for the largest ever gathering of people dressed as Smurfs.

To help break the world record, the O2 were inviting people down dressed as a Smurf.  If you didn't have a Smurf outfit, not to worry, as they provided everything, the top, the trousers, the shoes, face paint and the hat!

There were hundreds of people, from babies to adults and everyone was having fun, what an event!
